Senior Writer’s Injustice To Young Directors

He’s one of the hailed senior writers in Tollywood who continues to showcase his powerful presence at the box office. Of course, most of his hit films have come from only one person and other than this writer has only a couple of pictures to his credit. But then, here’s an interesting thing that is being discussed in film circles now. 

Apparently, this legendary writer recently worked on a couple of scripts and invited a couple of young directors to direct them. Though these directors suggested that they would do big visual effects backed film on a good budget rather than these simple stories given by the writer, the legendary writer is said to have insisted them stick to what he planned. 

But then, when a couple of big investors approached him to create a big visual effects film, the writer hasn’t even considered giving a chance to one of these young directors. Instead, he picked someone who is close to his family and awarded him the project to direct it. The young directors who traveled with the legendary writer for years are now crying foul over this happening.
