King Nagarjuna is busy with the promotions of his upcoming release The Ghost. This Praveen Sattaru directorial is also getting released in Tamil. Nag attended a press meet in Chennai the other day to promote his movie.
At the event, Nagarjuna was asked about his opinion on Mani Ratnam’s latest period drama Ponniyin Selvan. Nagarjuna said that the film is too good and also added that he read the book as well.
Later, the reporters asked him about the ongoing comparisons between PS-1 and Baahubali. Responding to them, Nag said, “Don’t listen to them.”
Ponniyin Selvan hit the screens last Friday and is having a great run at the box office. This period epic features Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Karthi and Jayam Ravi in the lead roles.
Nagarjuna worked with Mani Ratnam in the past for the blockbuster film Geethanjali. Later, they didn’t get a chance to collaborate once again.
On the flip side, Nag’s The Ghost is gearing up for release tomorrow. Sonal Chauhan plays the female lead in it.
