Qala Trailer: A Musical Drama With A Thrilling Twist

Anushka Sharma as a producer is a class part. She bankrolled one of the finest films/series like NH10, Pari, Paatal Lok and Bulbbul. Now, she is back with yet another interesting flick titled Qala. Starring Triptii Dimri and Babil Khan in the lead roles, this film’s trailer was unveiled recently.

Going by it, the movie looks like a period musical drama which has psychological thriller elements. The story is set in the 1940s. Triptii plays the role of a singer in the movie. However, her singing aspirations are opposed by her mother and elder sister. How external factors trouble her forms the main crux of the movie.

Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is making his acting debut in this movie. He looks apt in his role and there are a lot of expectations around him as he is Irrfan’s son. Triptii looks more gorgeous than ever. She is carving her own niche by selecting interesting subjects rather than doing typical Bollywood films.

The cinematography and production design should get a special mention. They made the trailer look beautiful. On the whole, Qala gives positive vibes and makes people add it to their watchlist right away. It is directed by Anvita Dutt. Qala premiere on Netflix on December 1.
