Bollywood Banner Not Leaving Telugu director

Warangal lad Sandeep Reddy Vanga made a striking directorial debut with the 2017 film Arjun Reddy. Starring Vijay Deverakonda, this movie went on to become a cult hit at the box office. In 2019, Sandeep made his Hindi debut with Arjun Reddy’s Bollywood remake Kabir Singh. T-Series bankrolled the project. Since then, the top production house is not leaving Sandeep.

Kabir Singh was also a blockbuster at the box office. It also went on to become Shahid Kapoor’s career-biggest grosser. T-series head Bhushan Kumar was very impressed by Sandeep and struck a multi-film deal with Sandeep.

After Kabir Singh, Sandeep made Animal under the T-Series banner. Ranbir Kapoor plays the lead hero in it. This Hindi film is slated for a worldwide release in August. By the end of this year, Sandeep is expected to start his next film Spirit with Prabhas. Even this movie is being bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar.

The other day, Sandeep announced his new film with Icon Star Allu Arjun. This is T-Series’ fourth consecutive project with Sandeep. Looking at his lineup, Sandeep may not be available for Telugu producers in the next few years.

Among Telugu directors, only Ram Gopal Varma managed to get stardom in Bollywood. Now, it seems like Sandeep Reddy Vanga will join the list very soon.
