Megastar Is The First To Felicitate RRR Team

Neither any government nor any film body has come forward to felicitate “RRR” team for bringing the Oscar trophy to the country for the first time ever for an original Indian film. However, Megastar Chiranjeevi has truly surprised all of them by becoming the first ever film personality to cover the shoulders of the RRR team with ’saluvas’. 

Last night, Megastar hosted the birthday party of Ram Charan at his official residence in Jubilee Hills where a horde of celebs turned up. However, the matinee idol made sure that the whole of the RRR team, especially legendary director Rajamouli’s family including Oscar winner MM Keeravani, Srivalli, Rama, Karthikeya, Kaalabhairava and singer Rahul Sipligunj, choreographer Prem Rakshit along with producer DVV Danayya present at the event. He’s said to have presented them silk saluvas and garlands and felicitated them for winning the coveted Academy award. 

Now that Chiranjeevi has felicitated the RRR team, it looks like many other film personalities or film bodies in Hyderabad might plan to do the honours. On the other hand, Megastar shared these exclusive pictures of the felicitations through his social media account, as he said, “Honouring our Oscar winners in the presence of near and dear on Ram Charan‘s birthday was a true celebration! This feat Telugus achieved for the Indian Cinema shall remain etched in history!!”. 

RRR’s very own Naatu Naatu song won “Best Original Song” at the 95th Oscars, and the song features powerful dance from Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
