Tollywood Box-office: April Offers Multiple Genres To Movie Lovers

Every month, a batch of movies is released in theaters. While some impress the audience, others disappoint, and a few even become huge disasters. Despite receiving critical acclaim, some films still need help to achieve commercial success. Movies must be refreshing and unique to enter the successful zone.

The audience is no longer interested in typical commercial films, so many young directors explore novel concepts to capture viewers’ attention. In April, several movies are scheduled to be released, and most are different and interesting in their ways.

Ravi Teja’s Ravanasura vs Kiran Abbavaram’s Meter:
Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja’s high-voltage action thriller, ‘Ravanasura,’ will arrive on April 7th, along with Kiran Abbavaram’s out-and-out commercial film ‘Meter.’

Samantha’s Shakuntalam:
On April 14th, Samantha Prabhu’s ‘Shaakunthalam,’ directed by Gunasekhar, will come out. This chapter of Mahabharatha will be filled with love and drama.

Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha:
Debutant Karthik Dandu’s mystery thriller, ‘Virupaksha,’ featuring Sai Dharam Tej, is arriving on April 21st. The story and screenplay are by Sukumar, and this flick has high expectations.

Akhil Akkineni’s Agent:
Akhil’s spy thriller ‘Agent’ will be released at the end of April, and makers have invested heavily. Surender Reddy is presenting Akhil in a never-before-seen way, and this is his first film after ‘Sye Ra Narasimha Reddy.’

Dubbing Films:
Two dubbed movies, ‘Rudrudu’ and Vijay Anthony’s ‘Bichagadu,’ are also gearing up to impress the audience. Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘PS-2’ will also hit the big screens, featuring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and many others.

Allu Arjun’s ‘Deshamuduru’ will be re-released on April 6th.
