Director Wants More Time For Part 2 & Part 3

One of the most hyped films by Bollywood in recent times is none other than “Brahmastra”. Readying this film as an answer to Baahubali and KGF series, the Bollywood makers have roped in none other than SS Rajamouli as a presenter for this movie. However, things didn’t work at the box office no matter how aggressive the promotions are. 

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer “Brahmastra: Part One”, directed by Ayaan Mukherjee, has appealed to a section of society and made some big bucks but the film isn’t a success as expected. Though it collected ₹430+ crores gross from the worldwide box office, that recovers only some part of the investment they say. That made everyone think that Ayaan will come up with Part 2 and Part 3 immediately, such that the film’s staggering budgets will be recovered. Here is the twist. 

Announcing that the script work of Brahmastra 2 & 3 are taking up more time, director Ayaan Mukherjee is now moving to Yash Raj Film’s spy universe as he will be directing Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s WAR 2, a sequel to the film of the same name. Though Tiger’s presence is yet to be confirmed, Ayaan stated that Brahmastra 2 will release in 2026, so he has plenty of time to make another film in between. That’s how the director has decided to move on anyway.
