Akhil Akkineni is gearing up for the release of his new film Agent. Touted to be a spy action thriller, this movie is directed by Surender Reddy. Vakkantham Vamsi penned the story of it. Beyond Akhil’s presence, the combination of Surender Reddy and Vakkantham Vamsi raises expectations around this project.
Surender and Vamsi teamed up for films like Kick, Race Gurram, Oosaravelli, and Kick 2. Their combination has a good record in Telugu cinema. After a gap of more than seven years, they are now coming together with Agent. Thus, there are reasonable expectations around it.
Going by trailer, it looks like Akhil plays the role of a RAW agent who is set to Budapest to take down the mission of a criminal named The God. The trailer is filled with action sequences, and it looks like the makers are serving us an action extravaganza on April 28.
We must see if Surender Reddy and Vakkantham Vamsi make a good comeback with this movie.
Agent features Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead. Hiphop Tamizha composed the music for it. Anil Sunkara has bankrolled the project.
