OTT Platforms Become Next Stop For Heroines

The business of OTT platforms has increased, all thanks to the pandemic and the lockdown. Now, many makers are producing films that are exclusively made for OTT platforms.

Casting a pan-Indian actor will be an advantage as that will make OTT platforms to buy the film for a huge price and release it in multiple languages. Thus, many actresses down the south are planning to expand their market by widening their reach.

Actresses like Samantha, Nayanthara, Sai Pallavi and Rashmika Mandanna have huge fame in all the South Indian languages. Someone like Rakul Preet and Anushka have pan-India fame. Roping in such heroines will bring a huge hype to the films and OTT platforms can release them across multiple languages.

According to the sources, many young heroines are now planning to act in OTT projects to expand their popularity across the borders. On the whole, the streaming platforms have turned out to be a game-changer for the actors as well.
