The film Chiyaan62 was teased on social media with an intriguing storyline. The best part of this announcement is that Vikram will finally be seen in a proper mass commercial film after a long time.
It’s been a while since we saw Vikram doing a usual rural commercial drama as he was engaged in films in different genres and experiments. Vikram did not score a big hit in a long time. Hence, this film is expected to bring the glory back to the sensational actor.
The announcement video showcased a police station scene in a festive village setting, depicting a fight that erupts in the police station involving Vikram and others, triggered by a trivial issue where Vikram’s sandals are torn. The raw and gritty video created an air of anticipation around the film.
Riya Shibu will produce the film under the HR Pictures banner, and the music for the film will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
