“Please I Kindly Request” is what Rebel Star Prabhas says in the end of this visual bonanza, and that almost sounded like a direct request to the box office to register a ‘blockbuster’ in the first place. Finally the most awaited trailer of “Salaar” is here as promised and this is it is inducing goosebumps right now, ending the hunger of movie lovers.
The trailer starts off with the story of two friends, younger versions of Prabhas & Prithviraj, who live by a small hamlet that grows to become the fortified city of Khansaar, ruled by dreaded dons like Vardhani (Jagapathi Babu), Shriya Reddy, Bobby Simha and others. With Jagapthi trying to make his son Varadha Raja Mannar (Prithviraj) the chief of the city, a force opposes him and then enters the friend, Deva, the masculine and adrenaline-rushing Prabhas. Well, the visuals, setup, emotion and drama actually captivate the attention in this Prashant Neel directorial.
Amazing visuals and terrific sound design are the essence of Salaar, while Prabhas’ simple yet powerful body language and his simlest dialogues are the catchy elements of this extravaganza. The anticipation was built well in the trailer as the director took nearly 2 minutes to enter Prabhas, and once he’s there, it is racy and pulsating. We have to see what this one-man army of Deva actually does to the trailer on YouTube now.
