Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next film, tentatively titled “Thalaivar 171,” features Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. According to a Bollywood media report, Lokesh Kanagaraj approached Shah Rukh Khan for a special role in the film, but Shah Rukh Khan reportedly turned down the offer.
Although Shah Rukh Khan liked the subject, he has opted not to take on more special roles after already committing to a special role in his daughter Suhana Khan’s debut film, directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
SRK has recently appeared in films like “Tiger 3” and “Brahmastra.” The report also mentioned that SRK expressed interest in doing a separate film with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The project is produced by Sun Pictures, and Anirudh Ravichander is onboard as the music director. The film’s shoot will begin soon. Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently on a break and he will be completely focused on finishing the work and take the film to the floors soon.
Whatever it may be, it would have been interesting had both Rajinikanth and Shah Rukh Khan acted together.
