Tollywood Box Office: Slipped Into Slow Pace

Tollywood box office has been experiencing a dull phase yet again. After the dull February and March, movie lovers expected the box office to be on the rise, but unfortunately, there is currently a slow moment in revenue generation at the ticket windows.

After the dubbing films Brammayugam, Premalu and Manjummel Boys performed well at the box office, the film Tillu Square displayed a great promise with good revenue. However, there is no other film that is joining the film in satisfying the audiences.

Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘The Family Star’ showed promise but it did not do as per the expectations at the box office. There are very limited choices currently available for the audiences at the box office and the movie lovers expected the Summer to have a grand start.

The other day, Geethanjali Malli Vachindi was released at the box office and it failed to open grandly. The other two films, Sriranga Neethulu and Love Guru (dubbing) also could not do well at the box office.

On the flip side, the response to Bollywood film Maidaan is great and then, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan opened to a negative talk.

Altogether, the box office is moving at a slow pace with no proper attractive release at the theatres.
