The makers of Varun Tej starrer Pan India film Matka directed by Karuna Kumar are extremely conscious of bringing the 80s and 90s milieu, as the story is set in a period backdrop. From sets to costumes to styling to getups of the actors, they are very particular in giving a retro touch.
The makers have taken care, in terms of music as well. Get ready for vintage vibes in the songs scored by GV Prakash Kumar. This poster indeed presents Nora Fatehi in a typical heroine avatar in the 80s. She is seen posing like a diva in a vibrant set. Nora’s dances are going to be an added attraction in the movie. Jani master who choreographed super-hit songs like Ra Ra Rakkamma for Vikrant Rona and Kavalayya for Jailer oversees the dance choreography.
It cost 15 crores for the makers for the Hyderabad schedule. Apart from songs, and talkie part, they have also filmed some intense fight sequences in this crucial schedule. Meanwhile, they started a new schedule in Vizag.
Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments together bankroll the project where Meenakshi Chaudhary will be seen as the other lead actress.
