Tamil cinema witnessed several super stars across the decades. Stalwarts like MGR, Sivaji Ganeshan, and others ruled the film industry for many years. In the next generation, Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan competed for the top spot. Then arrived, Vijay and Ajith. Now, a new generation overtook them.

However, a picture is currently going viral on social media where three Tamil superstars Rajinikanth, Vijay and Ajith are trending on social media now for different reasons.

At the age of 74, Superstar Rajinikanth is competing with the young heroes in coming up with back-to-back films. He is working on Coolie, with Lokesh Kanagaraj and is immediately jumping on to Jailer 2, by Nelson. The announcement video showcases the commitment Rajinikanth have towards making the pictures.

At the age of 53, Ajith who is regarded as the star hero in Tamil cinema, commanding a huge fan base, is following his passion to race. His victory at the recently concluded 24H Dubai racing proves that he goes any mile to follow his passion.

At the age of 50, Vijay, who is regarded as Thalapathy Vijay by his fans, decided to quit the films. He is the number one actor in Tamil cinema with a market of at least thousand crores.

But, he wants to put aside everything and serve the public. He floated Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam party and announced quitting films. He will be doing one last film which will start soon.
