Unnecessary Clash Averted; Chhaava & Pushpa2 Benefited!

Box Office clashes are always considered to be unhealthy. Especially when two big stars arrive at theatres on the same day, it will definitely impact one or both movies.

Now, an interesting clash has been averted, and it has benefited both the films at the box office. We are talking about Chhaava and Pushpa 2.

Interestingly, Pushpa 2 and Chhaava were supposed to be released in December last year. But, to make way to Pushpa 2 and for some other reasons, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava makers announced the postponement of the film.

Pushpa 2 opened big and collected more revenue than the Telugu version in Hindi and North regions.

Had Pushpa 2 and Chhaava been released on the same day, the collections could have been impacted. Chhaava, which was released on Feb 14 across the nation, registered a bright number on day one.

As per trends, both the films collected a similar number which proves the craze that the two films carried. Had both the films arrived on the same day, the situation would have been different for sure.

Now, all The Exhibitors will be glad that an Unnecessary Clash was avoided in December and it has resulted in a win-win situation for all the concerned parties.
