Sitaare Zameen Par Trailer: Love, Laughter & Happiness

Billed to be the official remake of Spanish film Champions, Aamir Khan is coming up with a new film titled Sitaare Zameen Par. Directed by RS Prasanna, the makers launched the trailer today.

The film narrates the tale of a short-tempered basketball coach who is asked to coach a specially abled team for the National Championship. The film is all about how the short-tempered coach finds his way to assemble the team and develop a bond with them. In the process, what he learns and how life changes for once and all seems to be told in an emotional manner.

The film’s announcement was made with the intent to repeat the flavour of Taare Zameen Par which is a groundbreaking success several years ago. However, Sitare Zameen Par seems to be playing on this theme mentioned above. There is enough scope for drama and ample potential to showcase human emotions on the screen.

The film’s trailer reveals everything about the film and hence there are no surprises. The team seems to be preparing the audiences well in advance. However, the trailer do not have gripping emotional drama that is usually expected from films like this. Also, it will be interesting to see how the makers added the native flavor to the film. If the film hit the bull’s eye, Aamir Khan will jump back to success.

Aamir Khan is joined by Genelia Deshmukh, Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishnan Varma, Vedant Sharmaa, and others in the cast. Aamir Khan, and Aparna Purohit are jointly bankrolling the movie. Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Loy Mendonsa trio composes the music for the film.

The film also features Naman Misra, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Ashish Pendse, Samvit Desai, Simran Mangeshkar, Aayush Bhansali, Dolly Ahluwalia, Gurpal Singh, Brijendra Kala and others.

The film is scheduled for a grand release on 20th June.
