OTT Sparks: Thudarum & Tourist Family

The movie lovers are celebrating Khaleja and catching up with Bhairavam at theatres. Meanwhile, they are also equally excited to the new releases on the OTT platforms. On one side, Mohanlal’s Thudarum is already out on Hotstar. On the other side, Suriya’s Retro is also available. But, the fans are waiting for Tourist Family.

Thudarum and Tourist Family have garnered a lot of attention during theatrical release. Thudarum emerged as a big hit and Tourist Family is even bigger at the box office. While Thudarum had a release in Telugu, Tourist Family was not released in Telugu. Hence, the audiences are extremely excited for these films on OTT platforms.

Mohanlal has delivered back-to-back blockbusters with Empuraan and Thudarum, solidifying his box office dominance once again. Thudarum surprised many by becoming an unexpected sensation. Despite low initial expectations, it shattered records and became Kerala’s first ₹100 crore grosser. Now, the film is out on OTT.

Thudarum is available for streaming on Jio Hotstar in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada, with English subtitles. It hit OTT just five weeks after its theatrical release. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, the film boasts a powerful cast including Sobhana, Prakash Varma, Farhan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, and Aarsha Chandini Baiju.

Tourist Family marked the debut of young filmmaker Abishan Jeevinth. The comedy drama is produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment. The movie also features M. Sasikumar, Simran, Mithun Jai Sankar and Kamalesh in the lead roles, alongside Yogi Babu, M. S.

The film is yet to hit OTT and it will be made available on June 2nd. While the audiences started liking Thudarum, they are also waiting for Tourist Family.
