Pawan Kalyan’s OG is hitting the screens on 25th of this month. Considering the craze that the film is carrying, the makers decided to hold special premieres in both the Telugu states. The government of Andhra Pradesh granted permission to the team OG for holding 1 AM shows on 25th September. However, the government of Telangana declined the request.
With this development, the makers are now re applying for the government of AP to have the premieres on 24th September instead of 1AM on 25th September, because the government of Telangana granted permission for the 9 PM shows on 24th September.
The government of Telangana already made it very clear that they won’t give permissions to 1 AM shows and midnight shows, after the Pushpa 2 fiasco happened. However, they allowed permission to have paid premieres on 24th night with hiked prices.
Team OG wants the shows to take place in both the Telugu states at a time. So, to be in accordance with Telangana government’s GO, the team wanted to have special shows on 24th in AP as well. The makers of OG are hoping that a new revised GO including 9pm shows will be out very soon.
As it’s just 5 days left for release, team should clear these confusions to avoid last minute hurdles. Directed by Sujeeth, the film is produced by DVV Danayya.
