Akhanda 2 Gets Court Approval, New Release Date Locked!

The release of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 has been postponed due to the financial issues between 14 Reels Plus and Eros. The film was supposed to be released on December 5 but was postponed due to the court case. Yesterday, it was reported that all financial issues were cleared, and today, the Madras High Court gave a clearance for the film’s release. As a result, Akhanda 2 will hit the screens on December 12.

An official confirmation from the makers is expected to be out by this evening. Paid premieres are also expected to be held in AP and Telangana, after getting permission from the governments of both states. This news has relieved Balayya’s fans, who were heavily disappointed by the last-minute postponement on December 4.

Even though the movie is not getting a big release as expected in the overseas market, a good positive word of mouth can turn the tables. The combination of Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu has a huge craze, and it will help the movie in generating massive openings in the domestic market.

If the combination of Balayya and Boyapati, along with music director Thaman, manages to deliver the experience they gave with Akhanda, then Akhanda 2 will create a rampage at the box office.

With the release date getting confirmed, all Akhanda 2 needs is positive talk. If the film manages that, then sky is the limit for the film.
