Shocking Video: Thalapathy Mobbed by Fans, Falls Down

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay is one of the biggest names in Tamil cinema and he has reasonable box office footprint across South. His farewell film Jana Nayagan is up for release on January 9 and a massive promotional event was held in Malaysia yesterday. 

Incidentally, while Vijay was returning from Malaysia to Chennai, he faced an extremely challenging and detrimental situation at the Chennai Airport. 

Shockingly enough, it has been captured on video as we see Thalapathy Vijay being mobbed by fans at the airport, and the uncontrollable pushing and pulling gets the better of him as he tripped and fell near his car. 

A massive crowd had gathered at the airport to greet Vijay, and this led to a chaotic situation where even the security authorities couldn’t control the physical impact. This shockingly led to Vijay facing the brunt of the attack as he tripped and fell before his car. 

But luckily, Vijay could escape without any major injuries on the spot. But nevertheless, the nature of this incident calls for better security arrangements surrounding such superstar. 

In the recent past, we have seen actresses, Samantha and Nidhii Agerwal encountering similar situations as uncontrollable crowds gave them physical distress at public events. Now, even as superstar like Thalapathy Vijay has faced such a situation which isn’t what’s expected for a star of his stature and caliber.
