One of the crucial contributing factors for the revival of TDP in Andhra Pradesh is the Red Book that was announced by Lokesh before the election. This Red Book campaign paid a significant role in revving up TDP’s cadres during the electoral process and ignited the fire in them.
However, there have been certain complaints from TDP workers that the promised Red Book is not being implemented to the fullest capacity after the formation of the NDA government. They are saying that the fight back from TDP for all of YCP’s atrocities on them is rather complacent.
It has never reached the point where YCP leaders are starting to challenge and disregard Lokesh on this matter. The latest public statement from YCP Senior and loudmouth Ambati Rambabu is a testament to the same.
“Who knows if my name is in the red book. You must go and ask the author of this book(Lokesh) if he has my name in it. Even if he has my name, I am least bothered. Even my dog will not be scared of that book.” Ambati said. To be more precise, Ambati said in Telugu “aa red book ki naa Kukka kuda bayapadadu.”
The YCP leader challenged Lokesh to do whatever he can and said he isn’t bothered one bit about it.
Political experts are commenting that YCP leaders appear to have lost fear of the Red Book after the earlier trailer that was created where several wrongdoing YCP leaders went to jail for antisocial conduct.
It has to be seen when this fire would be reignited again. For now, YCP leaders are very complacent on this matter.
