Chiru’s MSG Crosses 350 Cr Mark

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s mega Sankranthi blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu continues its storm at the box office, shattering records one after the other. In the interim, the movie has crossed 350 Cr mark, and became the regional industry blockbuster.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, MSG becomes the all-time highest ticket-selling regional film on BookMyShow with 3.6m+ ticket sales so far, and collected a worldwide gross of 358 Cr+ in 15 days. The movie broke the previous record of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which had 3.59 million tickets in its entire run. With no major releases scheduled in the coming weeks, MSG is set to continue its dominating run.

MSG is also inching closer to the $3.5 million mark in North America. It is already the biggest grosser for Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi, and is likely to cross 400 Cr gross in full run.

Astonishingly, the makers recovered their investment within the first week across all regions, setting another record. Although a regional film, MSG surpassed several Pan India movie records and established new benchmarks.
