Last week, Tamil Nadu BJP chief Nagendran made an unnecessarily provocative comment on Thalapathy Vijay by saying that he must come out of Trisha’s house to see the reality in Tamil Nadu. This invited a lot of criticism and feedback on the TN BJP president.
Now, Trisha has reacted on this matter as her legal representative has called out this detrimental behaviour from the political parties.
Trisha’s legal representative stated that her client(Trisha) makes it very clear that she is not affiliated with any political party neither does she intend to be.
Further, just as my client had continuously maintained in the past, she has always taken a neutral stand when it comes to politics. My client wishes to be defined only by her craft and not by any alleged political alignment, it was added. This statement was intended to make it very clear that Trisha does not have any political affiliations.
Further and most importantly, it is common saying that personal lives should never be made the subject of public commentary or discourse, and it is expected that persons holding high positions maintain responsibility and equanimity in public discourse. It is requested that my client’s name not be drawn into matters that do not concern her.” The statement concluded.
Trisha has called for social responsibility and dignity from top politicians when speaking about others lives and rightly so as well.
