Superstar Rajinikanth is gearing up with two highly anticipated films arriving within a span of just three months. First in line is the highly anticipated Jailer 2, which hits the screens on October 15, 2026. Then it will be the biggie Dharman, which is expected to hit screens during the Pongal season in January 2027.

If these release plans materialize, Rajini fans will witness two big films in a very short period, and it will be a feast for them. Both projects have generated tremendous excitement, and trade circles believe they have the potential to emerge as major box-office successes.

Meanwhile, another interesting development is taking shape as Sivakarthikeyan’s Seyon is also eyeing a Pongal 2027 release. However, there is also speculation that the film could move to another date if Dharman officially locks the festive season.

The reason is simple. Both Dharman and Seyon are being produced by Kamal Haasan’s banner. Industry observers feel the production house will surely prefer avoiding an internal box-office clash between two biggies.
