Over the last few years, Thalapathy Vijay expanded his market in the Telugu film industry. Most of his recent films have done well at the Tollywood box office. Now, he is all set to make his debut here with a straight Telugu film. Dil Raju will bankroll the project and the reports suggest that Vamshi Paidipally will be the director of it.
According to the buzz, the talks went well between the actor, director, and producer. Most likely, the film will go on the floors in 2022. This project is being called Thalapathy 67.
Currently, Vijay is working on #Thalapathy65 which is being directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar. Producer Lalit Kumar gave advance to Vijay and locked him for the 66th film. However, the director of this movie is yet to be fixed. If Lalit fails to sign a director soon, Vijay’s 67th film may go on the floors first and then he may start the 66th project later.
Dil Raju is planning to make this film with a pan-India appeal. More details about the project are expected to be out soon.
