Director Sukumar, who is known for his good deeds and humility, has come forward to address the concerns of the Covid-19 patients near his hometown Kakinada. Knowing about the plight of patients who are struggling to get oxygen supply and oxygen beds near, Sukumar has taken an initiative to set up an oxygen plant at Razole.
According to reports, Sukumar is contributing Rs 40 lakhs for building a DOCS80 Oxygen generator plant. Sukamar’s friend Anyam Rambabu who also happens to be Amalapuram Panchayati Raj DEE has confirmed the development.
It is learnt that Sukumar had initially planned to supply oxygen cylinders and concentrators worth Rs 25 lakhs, but later decided to contribute another Rs 15 lakhs to build an oxygen plant with an intention of generating enough oxygen to meet patients needs, said Sukumar’s friend. This noble act of Sukumar is being welcomed by the residents of Konaseema. Film fraternity is all praise for Sukumar’s help for cause in this critical times.
On work front, Sukumar’s Pan India film Pushpa with Allu Arjun is in shooting phase. The teaser of Pushpa Raj introducing Allu Arjun’s character did top the trending charts and impressed critics, audiences alike.
