With director Puri Jagan complaining against “Liger” buyers including Warangal Sreenu and Shoban Babu, already Jubilee Hills police are said to have given complete police protection to the director’s house in this posh area where his wife, daughter and mother in law lives. However, this action by the dashing filmmaker is said to have prompted the buyers of the movie to proceed legally against him.
While selling the film, director Puri Jagan and his associate producer Charmme haven’t made any conditions in the agreement that they will be returning the money in case Liger fails to meet the expectations. However, as the buyers lost huge money on the movie, he has agreed to return a part of the money on ethical and moral grounds. And then, he’s said to have confirmed the same via WhatsApp chats with a couple of buyers who are in touch with him. Taking his chats and voice messages as proof, now the Buyers of the movie are knocking on the doors of civil court if the reports are anything to go by.
As unconfirmed reports stated that Puri Jagan has made a profit by selling the film’s theatrical rights, buyers are fuming that the director is not covering their losses.
