Andhra Pradesh chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is coming in front of the media, increasingly often in his fourth tenure as the chief minister. In this context, he happened to interact with India Today in a candid conversation and here are a few tidbits from the same.
About the relationship with BJP and Modi, Chandrababu sounded very confident and straightforward with his reaction.
“The bonding with BJP will continue forever. Narendra Modi is the best ever leader that India had produced, and we are happy to work with him. This relationship will continue forever, and there will be no hiccups in between.”
This comes at a time when there are doubts on whether the alliance would be a long lasting one, considering the kind of breakup story that everyone saw before 2019 election. However, it appears that Chandrababu is much more wise and understanding of the situation now. He has made it clear that the bonding with BJP will continue without any change.
“I’m telling you proudly that Hyderabad and Amaravati will be No.1, No.2 cities in the country and also global cities in near future” Babu confidently said.
When asked about the one nation, one election notion, Chandrababu appeared to be fully in approval of the same as he said the nation can’t afford to go to election ever so often with varied timelines. He said singular elections are the need of the hour.
Babu further endorsed India’s Operation Sindoor, saying it was a feather in the cap for the government and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a “global leader”.
