Handcuffed and Crying: Indian Student’s Deportation Breaks Hearts

The President of United States, Donald Trump has been following strict measures when it comes to restrictions on immigration policies. Trump is actively following up with the deportation drive that he had started immediately after taking charge as the President. 

In this context, a new heart breaking video from Newark airport in the United States is grabbing all the attention on social media and here’s a look into the same.

According to a social media post from an NRI, he physically witnessed an Indian student getting manhandled by the security authorities at the airport while he was getting deported. He revealed that the young student was crying and pleading while he was handcuffed while getting deported.

“I witnessed a young Indian student being deported from Newark Airport last night— handcuffed, crying, treated like a criminal. He came chasing dreams, not causing harm. As an NRI, I felt helpless and heartbroken. This is a human tragedy.” The tweet read. 

This heart breaking video is striking a dagger into the hearts of the Indian community, as it is said to see young students face such traumatic situations after having left the country with a million dreams. But nevertheless, such are the practices that are being followed by the Trump administration in the United States and the responsibility is on students to be careful about the same.
