A Double Fight From Seethakka and Son!

There needs no introduction for Mulugu MLA Seethakka aka Danasari Anasuya. A grassroot politician who is always available for the public and will go to any extent to support the people who voted for her. In the last three elections, Seethakka was the undisputed choice for the public from Mulugu. Now it’s time for Seethakka’s son to foray into politics and he is likely to contest the elections as well.

The Congress high command reportedly gave green signal to Seethakka and her son Surya. He has also zeroed upon his Assembly constituency and it is Pinapaka in Khammam district. Rega Kantha Rao won here in 2018 elections from Congress ticket but he later defected to BRS. Accordingly the Congress is looking for a strong candidate at Pinaka constituency and Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy reportedly suggested Seethakka to shift to Pinapaka.

Seethakka and Mulugu are inseparable yet she did take the suggestion of Revanth Reddy seriously because of the association they share. Seethakka immediately sent her son Surya to Pinapaka and he has already commenced work in the constituency.

Surya has been overlooking the responsibilities of Pinapaka for the last two years and to support her son, Seethakka has been visiting this place frequently. With this Surya has gained confidence among the local Congress cadre and being a youngster he is very active in the constituency.

Seeing Surya’s work, Revanth Reddy has made up his mind to field him from Pinapaka and reportedly consulted the Congress high command. From Delhi, Revanth received a go ahead signal and it’s all done.

On the other hand, sitting MLA Rega Kantha Rao is having less chances of getting B-form for many reasons. Corruption allegations against the MLA have become rampant and with his attitude, the local BRS cadre is divided. Moreover former MLA Payam Venkateswarlu is seriously upset with Rega Kantha Rao and this forced BRS chief KCR to go for a survey.

If Payam Venkateswarlu joins Congress, then Surya’s victory at Pinapaka is a cake walk and BRS’s saga in Khammam would continue.
