Today in Armoor, Nizamabad district, K T Rama Rao, the working president of BRS, narrowly avoided a major accident during the party’s election rally.
A video capturing the incident has circulated widely on social media, showing the railing of the open-top vehicle carrying KTR and party members giving way abruptly after the driver applied a sudden brake.
Fortunately, official reports from the BRS confirm that KTR emerged unharmed from the incident. Despite this close call, KTR remains undeterred and is set to continue his political activities, heading for a roadshow in Kodangal.
On the same day, KTR officially filed his nomination for the Sircilla Assembly Constituency, where he faces competition from Congress’ Kondam Karuna Mahender Reddy and BJP’s Mallugari Narsa Goud in what promises to be a triangular contest.
As the elections in Telangana draw near on November 30, the incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of political campaigns.
