Janasena-quota MLA seats went down from 24 to 21 last night after the final round of talks between Telugu Desam, Janasena and BJP. This further deduction in the seats has anguished several Janasena supporters and Pawan Kalyan addressed this matter in Bhimavaram today.
Pawan Kalyan explained the reason why Janasena got a low number of seats in the alliance sea distribution and attributed it to his defeat in the previous election.
Had I won in at least one seat last term, the result would have been different. I could have fought a lot more. I could have been in a commanding position as an MLA. But today, I don’t have that leeway and I am facing the consequence for the bad results in the past, Pawan said.
The Janasena head clarified that the most important thing ahead of him and the entire Janasena outfit is to work for the collective good of Andhra Pradesh and not quarrel about the number of seats they got in the alliance. He urged Janasena supporters to get their priorities straight.
Pawan announced that he is sticking with Bhimavaram constituency and called the public to thrash away Grandhi Srinivas who did absolutely nothing for the constituency in the last five years.
