Ex YCP MP Gorantla Madhav Sent On 14 Days Remand

YSR Congress party, somehow had this infamous tradition of having some of the most abusive public representatives in the country. One of the proud exponent of this mechanism was former Anantapur MP Gorantla Madhav. 

Madhav transitioned from a police officer in Anantapur to a member of Parliament, thanks to the encouragement of Jagan. In order to repay his gratitude to Jagan, this Madhav often resorted to the most abusive and destructive politics. He often abused Chandrababu and Lokesh to the fullest with a loud mouth. 

This time, despite being a former MP, he had the audacity to physically abuse a TDP activist who was recently arrested for abusing Jagan and Bharathi. While the culprit was being taken into custody, Madhav obstructed the police duties and tried to get his hands on the TDP activist. 

The police were quick to react to the situation, and they immediately filed multiple cases against Madhav. Subsequently, he was presented in front of the magistrate, who granted him 2 weeks judicial remand. He was sent to Nellore Central prison where he will be serving an elongated remand sentence. 

It appears that YCP leaders and representatives have made it a habit to queue up to jails one after another. While Vallabhaneni Vamsi is already in jail, it is now the turn of former MP Madhav.
