The government of Andhra Pradesh led by chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu have been imposing several public friendly policies in the state. They have another winner in the form of insurance program for sanitation workers and this has started to change lives already.
In this context, it is being primarily established that the permanent sanitation workers are being given ₹1 crore accidental insurance. Even temporary and contract workers are being allocated ₹20 lakh insurance.
A sanitation worker in Peddapuram of Andhra Pradesh had reacted on the same. He commented that this insurance program will come along way in securing the future of him and his family as the accidental insurance will cover Rs 1 crore.
