AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will leave for Davos on Sunday to attend the World Economic Forum meeting. He will be on a four day tour and will return to India on January 23.
During his visit, the Chief Minister will take part in 36 official programs. He will attend global discussions and hold meetings with top industrial leaders, investors, and government representatives from many countries.
On the first day, Chandrababu Naidu will travel from Vijayawada to Delhi and then fly to Zurich. At Zurich, he will meet the Indian Ambassador to Switzerland. Later, he will interact with industry leaders and attend a Telugu diaspora meeting organised by the Indian Embassy. Telugu people from 20 countries are expected to attend this program. The Chief Minister will address the gathering and speak about Andhra Pradesh development vision.
From Zurich, he will travel by road to Davos. At Davos, he will attend meetings with ministers and officials from the UAE and other nations. He will also meet Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran along with IT Minister Nara Lokesh. He will give special interviews to international media organisations.
On the second day, the Chief Minister will take part in a breakfast meeting organised by CII, highlighting Andhra Pradesh growth opportunities. He will attend the India Lounge inauguration and hold direct meetings with global company heads including IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna, Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, Nvidia Vice President Kalista Redmond, Maersk CEO Vincent Clerc, and JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal. IT Minister Nara Lokesh will join him for several of these discussions.
He will also attend panel discussions, round table meetings, and sessions focused on innovation, energy transition, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure development. Interviews with CNBC International and other global media platforms are also scheduled.
On the third day, Chandrababu Naidu will participate in World Economic Forum sessions related to industrial growth, artificial intelligence, climate finance, food systems, and global economy transformation. He will speak as a key participant in several high level discussions and attend meetings with international business leaders and policy makers.
Overall, the Chief Minister will attend three government to government meetings, sixteen direct meetings with business leaders, nine round table discussions, and multiple plenary sessions during the summit.
He will depart from Zurich on January 22 and arrive in Hyderabad on the morning of January 23.
