Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu always places the highest amount of emphasis on the Godavari Pushkaralu and wishes to hold it in the most grand and efficient way possible.
Now Chandrababu has started to prepare the stage for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu in 2027, already nearly an year and half in advance. He interacted with the officials on this matter and made a series of suggestions.
The Godavari Pushkaralu, scheduled from June 26 to July 7 next year, will be organised on a scale comparable to the Kumbh Mela, the CM told the official.
Considering the fact that the Kumbala is one of the biggest religious gathering in India, it appears that Chandrababu has big plans for the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu as well.
It is now being established that plans are in place to develop 373 bathing ghats over a length of 9,918 metres, including 234 existing ghats and 139 new ones.
District-wise proposals include:
Polavaram: 14 ghats
Eluru: 34 ghats
East Godavari: 102 ghats
West Godavari: 40 ghats
Kakinada: 6 ghats
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema: 175 ghats
Babu pointed out that AI oriented crowd management and traffic diversion will be utilised at this Pushkaralu, and he asked the officials to approach the central government to secure the funds much in advance.
It appears that Andhra Pradesh will be witnessing one of the biggest cultural events next year and this could boast the financial aspects as well.
