Despite being one of the highest functioning states in India, Tamil Nadu frequently faces complaints about corruption and irregularities in government departments. However, the new chief minister of the state, Vijay appears to be committed to eradicate this.
New chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Vijay is proposing a new program where anyone can report a bribery incident and receive Rs 1 lakh in reward.
The chief minister has communicated that he is completely revamping the anti corruption department in Tamil Nadu and giving it full powers. If the common public is demanded any kind of bribes or financial gains by government officers, they can readily report to the concerned department.
Even if the bribe demand is as little as ₹1000, they can report to the anti corruption department and receive Rs 1 lakh reward for the same. The concerned victim will have to just submit a proof of video to back their claim and they will be accorded financial reward accordingly.
This could will be game changer in Tamil Nadu administration, if implemented perfectly by the Vijay government. The public clearly want an anti corruption framework and if Vijay can make it happen now, there’s very chance he would go down as one of the all time great CMs in the state history.
