How Much Land Does KCR Family Hold? Revanth Answers

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy took a very ferocious approach in the assembly today as he spoke at length about the alleged illegal lands amassed by the KCR family over the years in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy said KCR used the mask of Telangana separatist agitation to illegally gain crores of money and large land parcels. He presented the hard evidence regarding the same in the Assembly as he spoke elaborately about the lands owned by the KCR household.

According to the statements issued by the chief minister, himself down below is a breakdown of the lands that are registered on the name of the KCR family members.

KCR – 67.5 acres
KTR – 49.5 acres
Shailima – 17.5 acres
Alekhyaa – 9.38 acres
Himanshu Rao – 46.23 acres.

In total, it was made clear by the chief minister that the KCR family has nearly 440 acres of lands in Telangana, and this is much beyond the permitted limit of 27 acres per family.

The chief minister affirmatively confirmed that he is immediately constituting an investigation to this effect and every single piece of land that is illegally owned by the KCR family will be taken back by the government. He said SC housing project will be completed with these lands taken back from the KCR family, as he said these illegal lands will be used for rightful cause.

The chief minister did not stop at that as he went on to say KTR illegally snatched away 8,000 acres of Dalit and government lands in Sircilla. Since the Congress government came to power 2,400 acres have already been reclaimed, it was added.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has assured on the floor of the Telangana Assembly that every inch of land illegally obtained by the KCR family will be reclaimed and distributed to Dalits and landless families.

The entire discussion in the Telangana assembly today revolve around the lands acquired by the KCR family since coming to power. If this message from the chief minister gets carried deep into the public, then it could paint a very bad image for KCR as such huge volumes of land can invite corruption allegations.

The BRS ecosystem is now patiently waiting for a strong reaction with proofs from the KCR camp and it is expected to come from KTR and Harish Rao very soon.
