Chhattisgarh Surajpur’s Collector Ranbir Sharma slapped a youngster and broke his phone for allegedly violating the lockdown rules. The video went viral and the collector was removed from his services. Now, another such incident happened in Madhya Pradesh and the video surfaced on the internet.
An Additional District Magistrate (ADM) from Shajapur, Manjusha Vikranth Rai is seen hitting a footwear store owner on his face in the video. She is seen slapping him in the viral video for not following the Covid-19 lockdown guidelines. But the shopkeeper says, ‘The shutter was down, still Policemen pulled it up. ADM slapped me & Policeman even hit me with a stick.’
There were many complaints against the policemen for manhandling the people who violated the lockdown rules during the first wave. Now, the government officials losing their cool and slapping the general public is being heavily criticized.
Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Inder Singh Parma said he learned the information about the incident of ADM and he will take action against the officer.
