He is coming here along with his Argentinian Football team to play a friendly match against India at the famous Kerala Stadium. In his latest social media post, CM Vijayan confirmed that Messi is coming to India for a friendly game in Kerala. This match is scheduled to happen later next year.

Needless to say, Messi and Argentina are two of the most followed entities in India and more so in Kerala. When Argentina won the World Cup in 2022, the celebrations in Kerala were so wild that these videos trended globally.
