Bought For 27 Crores in IPL, Scored 19 Runs Till Now!

After Rishabh Pant’s remarkable return from the horrifying car accident, everyone thought this would be his second innings in cricket and he would scale greater heights. However, the talented young wicket-keeper batsman has been struggling with lack of form thereafter. 

Incidentally, Pant was bought by Lucknow super Giants franchise for record, breaking 27 crore rupees. This was the highest amount of money played for any player in the history of IPL till now.

After this remarkable deal, that absolutely shook up, the IPL people felt this mark the resurgence of Pant. However, things have been going horribly wrong for him, even in his new IPL team.

After being bought for a record break 27 Crore, Pant has been struggling to get any sort of momentum with his batting. He got out on zero in the first game and followed it up with 15 runs in the second game. And in the last two games, he scored two runs each.

In total, Pant has scored 19 runs in the four games that he has played and captained till now. Social media is now joking about how Pant got more crores than number of runs scored is as shocking as it can get. 

But at the end of the day, Rishabh Pant is a talented young batsman and with proper training and gain awareness, he can certainly bounce back sooner than later.
