The residents of Hyderabad found it hard to wake up early today, and there is a very good reason behind the same. The city has witnessed what has been its coldest morning in the last five years with the temperatures dropping to below 10 Celsius in most areas of GHMC.
The Moulali area in Uppal recorded the coldest temperature in Hyderabad this morning with the temperatures reading 7.2 degrees. BHEL and Serilingampally saw similar temperatures.
Madhapur saw 12.8 degrees Celsius which Kukatpally clocked 13.1. Gachibowli was particularly cold with the reading dropping to 9.3 making it the coldest pocket in urban Hyderabad.
The weather department has warned of a serious cold wave in all of Telangana and even in the pockets of Hyderabad. The temperatures are likely to dip down or the next few days as well and residents are advised to be watchful of the same.
