In what could be considered a detrimental trend team, team India cricketers appear to be having a hard time in upholding marriage. Earlier it was the case of Shikhar Dhawan and Mohammed Shami, who had announced separation from their wives. Now it is turn of Yuzvendra Chahal to follow suit.
Chahal and his Instagram influencer wife, Dhanashree Verma had been in the news for the last few months amidst ongoing speculation is about their divorce.
Cut to now, according to a citation report published on Times of India, it is being established that Chahal and Dhanashree have officially divorced in the court of law. According to this report, the couple officially ended their two years of marriage.
Apparently, Chahal and Dhanashree had attended final court hearing at the Bandra family court on Thursday and secured their divorce. The former couple cited “compatibility issues” as the reason behind the divorce and affirmatively stated that they’ve decided to end their marriage which went on for a couple of years.
The couple earlier got married in December, 2020 but things went haywire in a couple of years. They revealed to the court that they had been staying away from each other and living separately for the last 18 months. They reportedly took part in the final counselling session yesterday before affirmatively stating about their desire to get divorced. For now, we have to wait for an official confirmation from the couple on this matter.
