A Zomato delivery guy has assaulted a female customer in Bengaluru which led to a huge uproar. Going into details, Instagram influencer Hitesha Chandranee posted a video on Instagram that her order reportedly got delayed. When she was talking to the costumer care, the delivery guy arrived.
A heated argument broke out between Hitesha and the delivery guy. Losing control, the delivery guy punched Hitesha on her nose and ran way. Hitesha suffered a bleeding from her nose and immediately consulted a doctor. She reported nasal bone fracture. After posting the video on social media, Zomato responded and offered an unconditional apology to the victim.
The Bengaluru police have identified and arrested the delivery boy. However, the delivery boy claimed that it was Hitesha who tried to attack him and in order to protect himself, it punched her.
The police added that they have launched an investigation to this whole episode.
