Venky & Kalyan Ram Give Anil a Taste of His Own Medicine

Director Anil Ravipudi once again proved why he is regarded as one of the smartest promoters in the film industry. Known for his ability to keep audiences engaged with every promotional campaign, the director has turned movie promotions into an art form of their own.

His upcoming film, starring Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, was launched recently and is set to begin regular production from tomorrow in Hyderabad. Anil Ravipudi chose to reveal the update through a quirky and entertaining video that grabs attention.

The video opens with Anil speaking to his team about the recognition he receives from fans. He jokingly mentions that admirers often call him the king of promotions and have presented him with a sword and a turban as symbols of that title.

Venkatesh playfully uses the sword to nick Anil’s thumb and applies a Veera Tilakam on his forehead. Kalyan Ram joins the fun and repeats the gesture. The sequence continues with actresses Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty, while composer GV Prakash Kumar also participates, making the video amusing.

Beyond the entertainment, the video also offers a glimpse into the film’s setting. The story is rooted in the Rayalaseema region, but the fun twist is the film is fundamentally a family-oriented entertainer.

Produced by Sahu Garapati, the movie is planned for Sankranthi release.
