Pranab Mukherjee Is ‘Haemodynamically Stable’

Former President Pranab Mukherjee Is ‘Haemodynamically stable’ (relating to the flow of blood within the organs and tissues of the body), but is still in critical condition, as per the tweet from his son Abhijit Mukherjee. The 84-year-old had an emergency brain surgery two days ago and also tested positive for coronavirus. His condition is said to be worsening. Pranab Mukherjee is still on a ventilator.

Pranab’s daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee shared an emotional post on her Twitter handle saying ‘Last year 8 August was 1 of d happiest day 4 me as my dad received Bharat Ratna. Exactly a year later on 10Aug, he fell critically ill. May God do whatever is best 4 him & give me strength 2 accept both joys & sorrows of life with equanimity. I sincerely thank all 4 of their concerns.’

Pranab’s son Abhijit Mukherjee requested everyone to continue with their prayers and good wishes for Pranab’s speedy recovery. Pranab Mukherjee was admitted to the hospital o Monday and a surgery was performed for clot removal from his brain. Pranab Mukherjee is being treated at the Army (R&R) Hospital in Delhi.

According to the statement from the hospital, Pranab’s health condition continues to be critical.
