T- Congress Is Not Dead, Here Is The Proof

The 2023 Assembly elections in Telangana are going to be crucial for the Telangana Congress party. Losing back-to-back elections (2014 and 2018), the T-Congress is going through external and internal turmoil. Firstly the internal matters due to senior leaders was a major conflict but post the Karnataka Assembly elections, the Congress high command spoke to seniors and settled the matter.

Now the T-Congress is fully focusing on strengthening the party and here is proof that it is not dead. BRS expelled leaders Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Jupalli Krishna Rao have decided to join the Congress. Telangana PCC chief Revanth Reddy was instrumental in convincing Ponguleti and Jupalli to join the Congress despite BJP’s negotiations with Etela Rajender.

Reports surface that Ponguleti and Jupalli might join Congress on June 8th but the date is not finalized yet. Nevertheless induction of these leaders will push the winning chances of Congress party in Khammam and Mahbubnagar districts.

Congress is already strong in both the districts and with Ponguleti and Jupalli, the party will have high chances of giving a tough fight to the BRS. The ruling party is weak in Khammam and Ponguleti who vowed that he would wipe out BRS from the district poses a big challenge now.

We shall see how the T-Congress will utilize the political experience of Ponguleti and Jupalli and rise to the ranks in the coming days.
