Rameshwaram Cafe Incident Is A Bomb Blast – Hyd On High Alert

All throughout the day it was believed that the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe, Bangalore happened due to some domestic cylinder blast, but then the preliminary findings stated that the blast was caused by an identified bag left by a customer. And this revelation led to the country being high-alert, especially in high-profile cities like Hyderabad.

According to some media reports, the owner of Rameshwaram Cafe, Brookefield, Bengaluru revealed that the cause of the explosion was a bag and has even revealed the CC TV footage of the same. Even the Karnataka DGP confirmed that the explosion was a bomb blast, and reports indicate that the reports of the forensic team and bomb squad are being sent to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB). This brought back the memories of how an unidentified bag left by terrorists caused havoc and costed lives at the infamous Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park bomb blasts, known as the twin blasts of Hyderabad 2007, for the residents of Hyderabad city.

For the very same reason, Hyderabad turned into a high-alert mode, with police frisking every single corner and upping the security cover of the city. Though there were no casualties in the Rameshwaram Cafe blast, with 7-9 people injured and being treated at hospitals, already Karnataka Govt is on high alert mode and now Hyderabad is also being closely monitored.
