‘I am, on the side of acceptance, humanity, love..’ – Taraka Ratna’s Wife

Last February, the untimely and tragic passing of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna came us an unsettling shock to the Nandamuri family. Everyone sympathized with Taraka Ratna’s wife Alekhya and their young kinds who were orphaned with the passing of Taraka Ratna. Two members who stood firmly by by the family in the hour of crisis are Tarak Ratna’s uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Alekhya’s maternal uncle, YCP leader, Vijayasai Reddy.

After the passing of Taraka Ratna, both Balayya and Vijayasai took up the responsibility of overseeing the well-being of the family members. Recently, on the occasion of Ugadi, Vijayasai Reddy spent time with the deceased Taraka Ratna’s family. Yesterday, it was the turn of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Nandamuri Mokshagna to meet Alekhya and the young kids.

But given the political heat in AP, and the hard fact that Vijayasai is a YCP leader and Balayya is a TDP stalwart, there was a question on which party Alekhya is leaning at. This question is raising because both Vijayasai and Balayya have been extremely considerate of Taraka Ratna’s family and have been of great help to Alekhya, so there is the natural curiosity on which side she is more inclined towards. Is it her maternal uncle Vijayasai’s YCP? Or is Taraka Ratna’s loving uncle Balayya’s TDP?

Late Taraka Ratna’s wife Alekhya has shared an interesting post in relation to the mentioned question as she wrote: “Ive always been asked which side i am on, I am, on the side of acceptance, humanity, love and most importantly my FAMILY Wishing you nothing but the best mamayya.. obu , kids and i love you unconditionally”.

Though Alekhya didn’t specifically reveal which side she is on, the fact that she shared a pic of Balayya and captioned it with the aforementioned statement is leading to social media theories that her best interests are with Balayya’s TDP.  But it wouldn’t be right to stress too much on this topic as the family is still fresh from the wound left by Taraka Ratna’s passing.
